This paper compares the general avionics system architecture with integrated modular avionics (IMA) architecture, and the advantages of IMA architecture is analyzed. For the complexity of resource allocation and many safety requirements led by the high-integration of IMA,the processes of IMA system partition and resource allocation are proposed. The proposed method has the practical significance to guide the design of the IMA system.
